Let’s next learn these troubleshooting steps in more detail!
How to Fix When JLab GO Air Pop Not Pairing?

When your Pop earbuds are not pairing, there could be different underlying reasons.
It could be as simple as the earbuds not being in pairing mode or temporal glitches that form those issues.
Despite the cause nature, all the following steps will help you fix this problem!
Tip: Make sure to attempt as many steps as possible!
1. Restart your GO Air Pop Earbuds
The first solution to address any underlying temporal software issues with the pairing connection is to restart your JLab earbuds.
Turning the earbuds off and on will help you clear any conflicting glitches, refresh the earbuds’ memory, and allow an opportunity for stable pairing connections.

Follow these steps to restart your GO Air Pop earbuds:
- Put both Left and Right earbuds in the charging case.
- Then, close the case lid to power “OFF” the earbuds.
- Open the lid and remove both earbuds from the case.
- Both earbuds will automatically restart and turn “ON.”
Once done, one earbud will flash a blue/white LED light, indicating that they are ready to pair.
Next, simply choose your “GO Air Pop” name in your device’s Bluetooth settings to connect.
Quick Tip: Before pairing, you can try restarting your Bluetooth device and then attempt to pair!
2. Disable Bluetooth on Nearby Units
Note that Go Air Pop earbuds are limited to a single Bluetooth device pairing at a time, hence they can’t pair to multiple devices at once.
This means that if there are other units with enabled Bluetooth and saved JLab GO Air Pop profile, you might be facing congestion in the signal.

In other words, the earbuds may be trying to establish a connection with another nearby device with an enabled Bluetooth feature.
To entirely rule out this possibility, check and ensure that the Bluetooth connection on all your devices is disabled except the one to whom you want to connect your earbuds.
Moreover, move away any other wireless devices outside the Bluetooth range, especially when you’re trying to pair.
It could eliminate the chance of signal interference and help you establish a stable connection.
After you are done, check to see if your Pop earbuds can connect to your device!
3. Remove JLab’s Bluetooth Profile

If disabling Bluetooth on your devices doesn’t work and your JLab GO Air not connecting to each other, it’s recommended to “forget” their profiles.
This will allow your earbuds to establish a clean connection with the preferred device, without other Bluetooth signals actively interfering.
To remove GO Air Pop earbuds from other devices, follow these steps:
- On Android Devices: Open Settings → More Connections→ Bluetooth → JLab GO Air Pop → Choose “Forget.”
- On iPhone/ iPad: Open Settings → Bluetooth → JLab GO Air Pop → (i) button → Choose “Forget this Device.”
- On Windows OS: Open Settings → Devices → Bluetooth & other devices → Click on JLab GO Air Pop → Choose “Remove Device.”
- On macOS: Open Settings → Bluetooth → JLab GO Air Pop → Click on the X button.
Once done, attempt to put earbuds in the case, take them out, and pair them with your device.
4. Re-Sync the Pairing Connection

Sometimes, any software issue with the earbuds’ profile could cause pairing problems.
Such issues can be easily resolved by simply re-syncing the earbuds pairing connection.
This step includes first removing the JLab’s profile from your Bluetooth device and pairing them freshly.
To re-sync the GO Air Pop pairing connection, follow these steps:

That’s all, your JLabs should now connect easily! In case the pairing issues continue, move on to the next solution…
5. Fully Recharge your Earbuds
There’s a chance that the reason for your JLab GO Air Pop one earbud not pairing is a low battery.
If any of the earbuds run out, they won’t connect and hence, will not pair with your device.
To rule this out, adequately charge them and attempt to pair them to your device.

Follow these steps to recharge your JLab GO Air Pop:
- Install both JLab GO Air Pop buds within the charging case.
- Close the lid and ensure the terminals face the case’s pins.
- Connect the case to a PC or adapter using a USB-C cable.
- The charging will begin, and the case must illuminate light.
Typically, JLab GO Air Pop earbuds take 2 hours or more to fully recharge, depending on the charging case’s charging.
Once recharged, try pairing the earbuds with the Bluetooth device!
Bonus Tip: Clean the Charging Contact!

Sometimes, any debris within the case or earbuds could prevent the earbuds from charging, and it leads to earbuds not pairing together.
So, try to clean the charging pins on both devices.
To clean the charging pins, shake the earbuds and case to clear away debris, and next clean the charging metal pins using a dry cotton swab.
Also, make sure to not use any liquids, as the charging case is not water-resistant.
Warning: Do NOT use the charging case while still wet!
6. Reset and Re-Pair your JLabs
Sometimes, when your JLab GO Air Pop earbuds not pairing together, you may need to reset them to factory settings.

If the earbuds pairing issues continue even after resetting, probably your Bluetooth device is the culprit, not the JLab earbuds.
Well, as a last resort, attempt to pair the GO Air Pop earbuds with a different device.
This would identify whether your buds are the culprit or your Bluetooth device.
There are two possible outcomes:
- If the earbuds work with a different device, the issue is with your old device, so check for firmware updates or factory reset your device.
- If you can’t even pair your earbuds with a secondary device, the earbuds are defective and you should claim a replacement if the earbud’s warranty is intact.
