If you’ve received a Yoto device ordered by mistake, the wrong model, or something else that you don’t approve of, you can easily return it.

Well, if you cover all the requirements, you shouldn’t face any trouble in returning the product.
Return Requirements:
Well, to return a Yoto product, you must cover a few requirements:
- The product must not be externally damaged.
- The product must have its original packaging.
- The product must include all original contents.
- The item/s must be bought from yotoplay.com.
Important: If you’ve purchased the product from a third-party retailer the return must happen through the merchant, not through Yoto officials.
Yoto Return Costs:
The return cost is determined by the value of the items you’re returning. Yoto provides completely free returns for items valued over CA$35, AU$38, $20, £20, and €20.
However, that’s not everything, since if you want to return a Yoto item outside of the UK, EU, USA, or Canada, Yoto will not cover the shipping.
Well, don’t worry even if you have to pay a small shipping fee.
Yoto items are not heavy, nor take a large amount of space, so even if you have to pay shipping, it’s not going to be something you must prepare for.
Yoto Return Policy – How to Return Yoto Items?
Now that you’re familiar with the Yoto items you can return, and you cover the requirements, it’s time to learn more about the actual return process.
Step #1 Contact Yoto Play
The first step is to get in touch with Yoto, through the official website, by clicking the “Leave a message” button.
You will be prompted to select your reason, hence choose the “Order editing and returns” option.
Next, you must choose “I need to…” → Return something!
You’ll be shown the Purchase Terms and Delivery and Return policies, after which you must insert the order number you would like to return.
If you would like to return a singular item (not the entire order), make sure to mention this in the text field.
Step #2 Print Return Label
When you send your submission, Yoto will review your request and get back in touch with you via email, where they will send you a return label.
Then you’ll need a printer to print the return label, where you will need to include the order number.
Step #3 Sending the Parcel
The next step is to send the packaged parcel (good packaging required), from your drop-off point or local postal operator.
The return address should be included on the label sent by Yoto to your email address.
Step #4 Getting the Refund
When you’ve sent the parcel your job is done! You’re now waiting for Yoto to receive the returned product, approve the condition, and initiate the refund.
As mentioned in the return policy, the product must be in satisfactory condition, so there is no point in returning the Yoto Player or equipment damaged by you.
If everything with the product is okay, a refund will be initiated, depositing your original payment back to your financial account in 5 business days.
Yoto Player Return Policy – Important Notes!
There are a few case-specific essentials that you must be aware of, before submitting a return order to avoid your submission being rejected.
- If you’re returning a Yoto item outside of the UK, EU, USA, or Canada, Yoto will not cover the shipping costs, even if your product is valued over $20.
- Yoto strongly recommends not returning individual cards, instead gathering several cards together and returning them as a group.
- If Yoto is not organizing your return, you are obligated to ensure robust packaging for the returned products, as they will not cover potential damage.
- Items purchased on a sale will be refunded at the price they were sold at, not the original price of the Yoto product.
- If you want to exchange an item for the same one, the one you’re returning must be inspected and proven to be factory-defective after the return.
- If the Yoto item was purchased as a gift, the return process can only be initiated by the original purchaser of the item (the same goes for vouchers).
Note: If your refund is missing or late, check your financial account again in 7 business days, and if your funds are not deposited, contact Yoto customer support.
