1. Soft Reset Your Kogan TV

The first and perhaps the most effective way to fix loading issues on Kogan TV is via soft reset, which is only a power circulation on the device’s hardware.

This method works just like a restart but requires unplugging the TV from the power source for a few minutes to fully discharge.

If you don’t know how to power cycle, follow the steps below:

1. First, verify that your Kogan TV is working.
2. Press the Power button to turn the TV off.
3. Unplug the power adapter from the outlet.
4. Also, disconnect the power cable connector.
5. Wait for about 3 minutes for a full discharge.
6. Reconnect the TV’s power equipment back.

When ready with the power circulation, turn on the Kogan TV and test whether the device will still get stuck on the loading screen.

2. Unplug Your Video Source

You must prepare a flash drive and a computer connected to the internet or Wi-Fi.

Here’s how to update Kogan TV by using a flash drive:

1. Locate your Kogan product code on your TV’s back.
2. Note down the model number, not the serial number.
3. Search your TV’s number in the Kogan Help Centre.
4. Download the (.bin) file as per the TV model number.
5. Then, save the (.bin) file somewhere on the computer.
6. Plug the USB flash drive into a computer’s USB port.
7. Info: The USB flash drive must be a minimum of 8 GB. 
8. Right-click and format the USB flash drive to a FAT32.
9. Put the downloaded (.bin) file into the USB flash drive.
10. Next, turn off your Kogan TV using the Power button.
11. Insert the USB flash drive into the “USB1” on your TV.
12. Press and hold the Volume (+) button on your remote.
13. While holding, press the TV Power button to turn it on.
14. Release the Volume (+) after you see the blue screen.

The software updates when you see the blue screen on your Kogan TV. You should not unplug or power off the TV until the process is completed.

4. Check for TV Overheating

Overheating is one of the primary reasons why Kogan TV gets stuck on the loading screen or logo and, shortly after, restarts automatically. 

This is a protective TV restart, which reduces the internal temperature and preserves the TV hardware from lethal heat damage.

If overheating is present, it’s unclear how long your Kogan TV will continue to get stuck and restart, so it’s necessary to cool off the television manually.

Here are a few ways to reduce your Kogan TV temperatures:

1. Verify your TV is not close to heat conductors.
2. Ventilate the TV’s room by opening a window.
3. Clean the ventilation openings with a dry cloth.
4. Use compressed air/vacuum to clean it further.
5. Turn on a fan/AC blowing against the TV back.
