The Kogan TV remote uses two triple-A batteries to support the communication and the IR signal.

Here’s how to discharge the Kogan remote control in easy steps:

1. Turn your Kogan remote control upside down.
2. Next, remove the battery compartment cover.
3. Remove both batteries from the compartment.
4. Hold the “Power” button on the remote control.
5. After 30 seconds, reinsert the batteries back in.
