This method is safe, it won’t erase the data from your TV, only discharge the power, reboot the operating system, and provide a fresh start.

Here are the steps to apply a proper TV power circulation:

1. Using the remote control, turn OFF your Kogan TV.
2. Then, disconnect the power adapter from the outlet.
3. Also, unplug the A/C cable’s connector from the port.
4. Wait for 60 seconds for your Kogan TV to discharge.
5. Connect the TV to power and press the Power button.

3. Wake Up the Kogan Television

The reason why your Kogan TV picture is missing but the sound is there could be because the TV is sleeping.

If you didn’t know, Kogan TVs are equipped with an adjustable sleep timer, and after a certain amount of time, your TV will go into “Standby Mode,” turning off the display.

To wake up your Kogan TV quickly, take the remote control and press on the “Sleep” button, located at the top-right.

You only need to press the button once to wake up your Kogan TV and check whether the sleep timer is causing the problem.

1. Verify that your remote control is functional.
2. Press the “Source” button from the left side.
3. Select the TV source with an input device.
4. Use the arrows to select a different source.

Note: Your Kogan TV supports HDMI, Component, ATV, DTV, Media, AV1, AV2 and PC, so select the correct source as per your connected device.

5. Use a Different Video Input Port

When you have a video device connected to your Kogan TV, the input port that you’ve used could be causing the picture to disappear.

7. Adjust Source Device Resolution

Sometimes, Kogan TV no picture issues arise when the resolution of a connected computer does not align well with your TV resolution.
