4. Troubleshoot Yealink’s Incoming Calls
Another cause for a slow flashing red light on the Yealink phone is an issue with the incoming calls.
There could be several causes why the Yealink phone is unable to receive calls, causing the indicator to pulsate in red slowly.
If Yealink doesn’t receive calls, there are several things to check:
- Check the registration of the SIP of the Yealink phone.
- Crank up the ringer volume to hear the incoming calls.
- Ensure your “DND” (Do Not Disturb) mode is disabled.
- Deactivate the “Call Forward” option in Yealink’s menu.
- Check if the caller has been put in the Blocked section.
The slow red light will only occur if the phone detects the incoming call, but has been muted or suspended from ringing.
So, if there’s a network connection failure, the phone may be unable to receive a call entirely, therefore the red light will have a different meaning.
Note: When you’re ready, unplug your Yealink phone from the electrical supply for 60 seconds!
