- Weak Bluetooth Pairing: Distance, obstacles, or interference can weaken the Bluetooth signal and affect sound quality.
- Dirty Raycon Earbuds: Debris or earwax buildup on the earbud’s inner speakers of the earbuds are muffling the audio.
- Raycon Software Issue: Temporary glitches within your earbuds or device’s software frequently disrupt the audio connection.

How to Fix When Raycon Connected But No Sound?
In the below section, we’ll discuss different methods that will help you address the no-sound problem with your earbuds.
Note: Make sure you implement all the methods in consecutive order.
1. Quick Fixes to Try First
If your Raycon earbuds are “Connected” but there is no sound, there are quite a few simple things to do before performing troubleshooting.
Here’s exactly what to begin with:
Check Volume Level:
It sounds obvious, but ensure both your device and Raycons are at audible levels.
You must check your device’s volume (Volume +), the Raycon earbuds volume (tap right earbud), and the volume of the application (in-build controller).
Verify Media Source:
Make sure you’re playing audio from the correct app or platform. Pause other media and check if it’s the intended source causing the silence.
We recommend testing different and trusted apps such as YouTube, Netflix, or Spotify.
Minimize Interference:
Bluetooth signals can weaken due to distance or obstacles. Move closer to your Bluetooth unit and make sure to stay within the 15-feet range.
Restart Both Devices:
Sometimes, a simple restart can work wonders.
Power off both your Bluetooth device and your Raycons and then power them back on after a few seconds.

2. Check Bluetooth Settings
When pairing Raycon earbuds, make sure your device is not linked to other Bluetooth devices.
This is because several Bluetooth connections to one device can cause interference, leading to connectivity or sound problems.
To check if that’s the case; open the Bluetooth settings on your device and review the list of all paired devices.
If there are any other Bluetooth devices connected, “forget” them immediately.
- To forget on iOS, tap the “i” (Info) icon next to the connection.
- To forget on Android, tap the cogwheel next to the connection.

- Open the “Search Box” on the computer.

- Lastly, select the “Set As Default Output.”

3. Refresh the Bluetooth Connection

- Press “Forget this Device” to unpair the earbuds.

4. Recharge your Raycon Earbuds

So, fully charge both Raycons to ensure that the earbuds have enough charge.
Additionally, verify the Raycon charging capsule is fully charged so your earbuds can withdraw sufficient voltage.
Here’s how to recharge your Raycon earbuds:
- First, position both Raycons securely inside the capsule.
- The earbuds’ metal contacts must face the capsule’s pins.
- Next, close the lid and your earbuds will start recharging.
- While charging, the Raycon earbuds must show a red light.
- In the meantime, the Raycon capsule should show green.
- Once both lights are turned off, your buds are fully charged.
Reminder: Note that the charging period may vary depending on the leftover charge, so it’s recommended to charge your earbuds for at least 20 minutes.
5. Clean your Earbuds & Capsule
Although Raycons are sweat and water-resistant, over time, dirt, debris, or ear wax can build up a layer that often affects the sound quality.
In case there is obstruction of the inner speaker of the Raycon earbuds the audio output may be low, muffled, or entirely muted based on severity.
Therefore, cleaning both your earbuds and charging case can be a good step to ensure they are free from any obstructions.

- Clean your earbuds with lukewarm water and soap.
- Make sure not to sink earbuds into too much soap.
- Next, clean the entire capsule using a soaked cloth.
- Remove the rubber tip from both of the Raycon buds.
- Clean the speakers using only a dry cloth (no liquids).
Once both the earbuds and capsule are dry, connect Raycons to your device and play any audio to test the output.
If no sound is coming still, charge your earbuds one more time and test again!
6. Factory Reset your Raycons
