The “Offline” mode is used primarily for traveling, but it can also disrupt an ongoing download or stop your Toniebox from updating, on demand.

1.1 What is the “Offline” Mode?

While the “Offline” mode of your Toniebox is active, the device will stop searching for a Wi-Fi network and only play tunes that have already been fully uploaded.

• It won’t be possible to activate a new Tonie and download content from the app or online store with the offline mode.

The feature can only be manually activated and disabled, so don’t worry about your Toniebox going into “Offline” mode randomly.

1.2 How to Enter “Offline” Mode On Toniebox?

1. Power on your Toniebox and remove Creative or Content Tonies.
2. Pinch both ears for up to 5 seconds and wait for the audio signal.
3. Next, release when the LED of the Toniebox starts flashing in blue.
4. Pinch one of the ears for 3 seconds until the LED indicator is white.
5. Wait until the speaker announces the activation of the Offline mode.

1.3 How to Exit “Offline” Mode On Toniebox?

2.1 How to Preload Content to Toniebox?

To prepare the audio library of your Toniebox for an away time, you will need a creative or a content Tonie that’s already set up with the application. 

So, decide what audio you wish to upload to the Creative Tonie and follow these steps:

1. Open the mytonies app on your phone or access the website.
2. Navigate to the “Collection” page on the website or application.
3. Next, select the Creative Tonie you wish to upload content for.
4. Tap the “Record” or “Upload” button on the right side of the page.
5. Wait until the new audio is uploaded and press the “Done” button.

Each Creative Tonie has limited storage of up to 90 minutes of playtime, meaning you can upload all sorts of varying content lengths.

• If you’re using an iPhone, open the “Settings” app and go to “Personal Hotspot” then enable “Allow Others to Join.”
