6. Troubleshoot Issues with the A/C

Many users suggest that the night vision failure is due to a problem with the camera or monitor’s power supply.

Let’s review some common tips for both your camera and monitor!
Tip #1 Change the Electrical Outlet
Start by testing your Hello Baby monitor and camera in a different electrical outlet.
Ensure the outlet is functional by testing with another electrical appliance and only then, install the monitor or camera and check if all connections are secure.
Tip #2 Remove External Equipment

Connect both your monitor and camera directly to the outlet, without using any type of extenders and dividers.
This ensures the power supply to the device will not be terminated due to an outlet plug or malfunctioning third-party smart plug.
Tip #3 Inspect the Adapters
The last, but not the least important tip is to verify the adapters of both your monitor and camera are in functional condition.
Frayed wires, bent connectors, or an incompatible replacement adapter could be preventing your Hello Baby monitor or camera from charging up sufficiently.
Note: If you hear unexpected and consistent Hello Baby monitor beeping, note that there is a power-related problem such as outages/inconsistency.
7. Reset the Hello Baby Monitor’s OS
A factory reset will almost certainly address all types of issues with your Hello Baby monitor, except if the fault is on a hardware level.
So, this is your last shot against the problem, before considering claiming your warranty or bringing the device for a professional checkup and repair.
As a result, all of your Hello Baby cameras will be removed from the monitor’s interface and all settings will be erased.

- To factory reset the monitor, insert a pin or a paperclip into the “RESET” pinhole on the rear panel and hold it for 3–5 seconds.
Alert: Keep the monitor plugged into the charger during the reset and don’t press any buttons.
