1. Verify Earbuds are Charged Sufficiently

Consecutively, the first step is to ensure the Soundcore case is charged to a sufficient battery (80% or more) capacity and check if your earbuds would still disconnect.

Similar to other earbuds, the capsule of your Soundcore earbuds uses a standard micro-USB charger and a regular adapter to charge over an outlet. 

So, ensure the charger is firmly connected and allow the charging case to charge for at least 30–35 minutes before testing the Bluetooth. 

How to Check Soundcore Earbuds for Charging Issues?

There’s a possibility that the earbuds have developed an underlying issue with the charging, resulting in pairing issues with the earbuds. 

Hence, we recommend the following:

• Ensuring all of your charger’s connections are secured.
• Charging the Soundcore case through a different outlet.
• Removing third-party equipment from the charging setup.
• Changing or replacing the charging wire or power adapter.

Note: After ensuring none of these issues are present in your setup, pair the earbuds to your device and check if the connection is persistent. 

2. Shorten the Wireless Signal Distance

Regardless of the device, your earbuds are connected to, they must remain within a particular distance in order to maintain the wireless connection. 

Well, with that being said, the maximum length of the earbuds’ wireless connection tends to be about ~32 feet or 10 meters.

So, ensure the earbuds remain within a set distance of 25–30 feet or fewer in order to avoid future disconnects. 

How to Check for Wireless Interference?

If interference is present, it may actively conflict with the signal range of the Soundcore earbuds and cause them to disconnect, even if they are within range.

So, wireless devices, Bluetooth transmitters, or metallic surfaces could reflect the signal of your earbuds and produce drops.

Important: Verify no other interfering devices are within a 30 feet radius of your earbuds to prevent potential disconnects. 

3. Re-enable Device’s Bluetooth Feature

In most cases, a problem with your device’s Bluetooth function may lead to issues with the consistent connection of the earbuds. 

So, we recommend temporarily setting the Bluetooth function of your device to “Off” and reconnecting the earbuds once it is re-enabled.

3.1 How to Re-enable Bluetooth On Android?

To re-enable the Bluetooth on Android, open the “Settings” app and navigate to “Bluetooth.” Search for the activation slider and set the feature to “Off.”

3.2 How to Re-enable the Bluetooth On iOS?

To re-enable the Bluetooth on iOS, swipe down from the homepage, tap the Bluetooth icon, and go to “Settings” → “Bluetooth” to disable it entirely.

To re-enable the Bluetooth on other devices, search for a “Bluetooth” or “Wireless Settings” tab in the device’s menu.

Wait for at least 60 seconds to pass while the Bluetooth function is disabled.

In the meantime, ensure no other devices are connected to your phone or computer, before pairing the earbuds. 

4. Forget & Re-Add the Earbuds’s Profile

One of the possible reasons why the Soundcore earbuds keep disconnecting is because of an issue with the Bluetooth profile.

For that purpose, the next step is to temporarily remove the profile of the earbuds from your device’s Bluetooth menu and complete the initial pairing again.

4.1 How to Forget Earbuds Profile On Android?

• Open the “Settings” app and navigate to “Connected devices.”
• Access the “Connection preferences” tab and then go to “Bluetooth.”
• Tap the settings icon next to the Soundcore earbuds’ connection and

Access the Bluetooth settings of your device and search for a “Connection” or “Preferences” options button next to the profile of the earbuds.

Locate the “Remove” or “Forget this Device” option in the menu to uninstall the Soundcore earbuds. 

5. Reset the Soundcore Earbuds Case

In order to be reset, the earbuds must be charged to a sufficient battery level and the case must remain plugged in.

Here’s how to perform a factory reset on the Soundcore earbuds:

1. Place both of the Soundcore earbuds into the case.
2. Keep the case’s lid open throughout the factory reset.
3. Hold the button on the case’s back for 10 seconds.
4. Release after the earbuds’ LED lights flash 3 times.
5. Hold the button on the tip of each earbud for 5 seconds.
6. Wait until the factory reset of your earbuds is completed.

Note: After the reset is complete, you can disconnect the charging case from the power and check if the earbuds maintain an uninterrupted Bluetooth connection. 

6. Manually Update the Firmware of Soundcore

By default, the Soundcore earbuds are designed to download the necessary firmware updates while connected to your device’s Bluetooth.

Sometimes this may not be the case, and you would have to download and unpack the firmware version yourself. 

Updating the firmware of the Soundcore earbuds requires a desktop computer or a laptop that’s connected to the internet as well as a compatible micro-USB charger. 

Here’s how to update the OS of the earbuds both on Windows and macOS:

1. Download the update tool from Anker’s official website.
2. Click on the “Download for Windows” option in the tab.
3. macOS: Click the “Download for macOS” option tile.
4. Unzip the file you’ve downloaded into a folder directory.
5. Launch the “setup.exe” file to install the OS update tool.
6. Run the “Anker” shortcut that appeared on the desktop.
7. Now, place both buds into the Soundcore charging case.
8. Connect the earbuds to your PC over the USB cable.
9. Turn off the buds and hold the case’s “Bluetooth” button.
10. Wait for the update tool to say “Connected” and release.
11. Hold the “Volume +” and “Volume –” buttons to proceed.
