How to Factory Reset Raycon Fitness Earbuds?
The Raycon fitness earbuds are the E25 model, which is the one known to have reset problems, and most people are unable to undertake the procedure.
However, before going in-depth with the troubleshooting solutions, we strongly recommend attempting the standard steps of resetting your Rayon earbuds.
Here are the steps that should work in resetting any Raycon earbuds:

Note: To factory reset your Raycon earbuds they must be sufficiently charged!
1. Fully Charge your Raycon Earbuds
The Raycon earbuds factory reset works by holding both buttons on the earbuds while they are off, which means that both earbuds must be in working condition.
If one of your Raycon earbuds is dead, (no battery charge), you can hold both buttons all day, and your earbuds will not reset.
That’s why, we strongly recommend connecting the capsule to the power, inserting both earbuds, and leaving them to charge for about 20 minutes.
When your earbuds are sufficiently charged, you should attempt the standard factory reset procedure, and then proceed with the other steps.
While your Raycon earbuds are charging, continue reading the guide!
2. Clean the Buttons on both Earbuds
Another quick step that you should undertake if your Raycon earbuds won’t reset is to clean the buttons on both buds.
If these buttons are obstructed by earwax or dust accumulation, the reset may not work even if you perform the steps correctly.
So, we recommend grabbing an ear stick and some cleaning solution to gently wipe anything off the buttons and make sure that they are clean.

3. Reset Earbuds While in the Capsule
If you’re using the Raycon E25 model, the factory reset may not work by using the standardized method that we’ve discussed.
- The thing is, Raycon E25 earbuds do not factory reset unless they are fully closed inside the capsule. Weird right?
How can you hold the buttons on the earbuds when they are inside the case with the lid closed?
Well, don’t worry, apparently, the community found a working way!
To achieve it, people insert some object such as a cushion or tape, to make the capsule’s lid apply pressure and hold both buttons of the earbuds while closed.
If this sounds weird, we strongly advise attempting the method, as this may be the only way to reset your Raycon buds.
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to factory reset Raycon Fitness earbuds:
Step 1: Disconnect Buds
First, “Forget” the Raycon earbuds from all Bluetooth devices and hold the button on both your earbuds for 4 seconds to turn them off.
Alternatively, you can disable the Bluetooth feature of all devices that have the Raycon earbuds profile remembered and ready for automatic pairing.
Step 2: Position the Buds
Next, position your Raycon earbuds within the charging case and keep the lid open, while you find an object to place inside.
Verify that the earbuds are embedded properly, and ensure that your capsule is charged, so you can see the LED indication when the factory reset commences.
Step 3: Third-Party Object
We recommend using something soft, such as cushion, tape, paper, silicone, or cloth.
The idea is to make the lid of the charging case apply pressure on the buttons of your Raycon earbuds when closed, so they can be pressed.
Step 4: Close the Capsule
When you have your soft item positioned inside the capsule, gently close the case, minding not to damage anything.
The light indicator on the case must light up, which means that the capsule is fully closed, which is exactly what you need to achieve with the soft piece of something inside.
Step 5: Factory Resetting
Apply mild pressure downwards from the capsule’s lid, to verify that both buttons on the Raycon earbuds are pressed for 30 seconds.
Then, release and let your earbuds sit within the case for about 1 minute for the reset to conclude.
Step 6: Reconnect Buds
That’s it. Your Raycon earbuds should now be factory reset and when you take them out of the case power them on and pair them with your device.
If you have any connection issues or other weird functionality problems, after the factory reset your Raycon earbuds should perform well.
Well, that was how the Raycon Fitness earbuds factory reset works!
Quick Tip: Preserve your soft piece of something for future factory resets!
4. Try Resetting with the Lid Open
If you’re still unable to reset your Rycon earbuds, there is another way you must attempt before concluding.
As we’ve already mentioned the Raycon E25 model can only be reset if it’s inside the capsule, so go ahead, and put the buds into the case, but now, keep the lid open.
- Don’t forget to power “OFF” both earbuds before inserting them!
Then, press and hold the multifunction button on both earbuds for 30 seconds and wait for any LED indication such as three red blinks.
If this happens, congratulations, your Raycon earbuds are now factory reset, so you can close the lid and leave them in their capsule for 2–3 minutes.
If this doesn’t work, there is one last thing you can attempt!
5. Charge your Earbuds Overnight
Well, if you’re still unable to factory reset your Raycon earbuds, especially if you haven’t used them in a while, the problem could be hardware-related.
So, the best thing you can do is put them inside the capsule and connect them to the power for about 12 hours.
Sometimes, after long inactivity, the hardware of your earbuds might be *clogged*, but you can fix this by performing a long charging session.
In the morning, try all the factory reset methods that we’ve discussed previously in this guide.
