Tip #1 – Learn How to Skip/Restore Tracks

What many beginner Toniebox users do not know is that you or your child can skip the Tonies content by tapping either of the Toniebox’s sides. 

Although this type of skipping forward feature might be confusing or difficult for some children to adapt to, it’s highly effective once you get used to it. 

1.1 Tap on the Right Side – Skip Forward

If your child is already bothered with the current track, simply give the right side of the Toniebox a slight tap to automatically skip forward. 

If you’re using a Creative Tonie, the Toniebox will skip to the next recording instead. Removing the Tonie Character or Creative Tonie from the box resets the queue.

1.2 Tap on the Left Side – Previous Track

If you didn’t hear the previous track quite well, you can give the Toniebox a tap on the left side to play the previous track from the beginning.

Keep in mind that removing the Tonie and placing it back on will reset the temporal memory and cause the Toniebox to “forget” what the previous track was.

To activate the feature, pinch both ears of the box for approximately 5 seconds and release upon hearing the audio signal.

Then, the LED indicator of the Toniebox will transition to white, indicating the successful activation of the “Offline” mode.

If you have enough data to spare, you can pair the Toniebox to your phone’s hotspot and download all of the content over cellular.

2. Next, navigate to the “Creative-Tonies” header in the menu.
3. Find the new Creative-Tonie you’ve just paired with the box.
4. Press on the Tonie/arrow icon found on the right-hand side.
5. Choose “Add Free Content” or “Upload Your Own Files.”

Note: If you prefer uploading custom tracks to the Toniebox, tap on the “Upload Your Own Files” option and pick anything from your smartphone’s storage. 

Tip #5 – Knowing How to Synchronize the Toniebox
